Welcome to 2018!

We are starting the new year with a fresh name on mobilee.

M.E.M.O. aka Anselmo Alarcon from Spain is opening the series for a new mobilee season.

Born in Málaga in 1980, he spent his childhood in Humilladero village. There, at 10 years old, he began classes of piano in the conservatory and with just 14, he formed his own band "Depende", where he sang and played the guitar. At this moment, he was influenced by groups like Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy, Prodigy and Chemical Brothers at the same time that styles like Acid, Jungle and the first breaks were imported from UK to Costa del Sol. This is how his addiction to vinyl shops begins.

In 2005, after working in most of the clubs of the south of Spain, he decided to move to Barcelona where he opens his own vinyl shop (Washing Machine Records) and in the next 7 years he played in the best clubs of the city: Moog, Catwalk, Felini, Zentraus ... He was the resident for a time of the party Zen of City Hall each Sunday and the breaks parties of Sidecar. In 2006 he debuts with his first live act in Space (Ibiza), at an Ibiza Global Radio’s party. From there he starts playing in other clubs of the island so finally he moves there for 5 years.

After 22 years of career, this avant-gard artist has played in many of the most important clubs of his country like Space (Ibiza), Privilege (Ibiza), Sankies (Ibiza), Moog and Kubik (Bcn), Industrial Copera (Granada) and many more... He has acted in countries such as Germany, UK, Norway, Netherlands, Russia, Croatia, Romania, Italy, USA, México, Dominican Republic; and in national and international festivals such as Creamfields, Dreambeach, Espárrago Rock, Winter Music Conferene, ADE Festival, Sommerøya, Musikfest, Festivalia, Eurosounds, TribalNation, RocketFestivalSpain, BreakNation, FlashBack, Live Dance Festival, Ohm Festival ...

Biography mobilee

mobilee records launched in 2005 and quickly established itself as one of the brightest new stars within Berlin’s glittering galaxy of electronic music labels, producers and DJs. Founded and owned by Anja Schneider and Ralf Kollmann, the label boasts a sound that is simultaneously familiar and innovative. Rooted in the classic structures of house and techno, mobilee has harnessed the triple threat approach: its records reference vintage dancefloor minimalism, engage with like-minded contemporaries, and suggest surprising new directions for familiar forms.

mobilee celebrated its fifth year in 2010, and marked the milestone with a tour that crossed all six continents. The anniversary not only highlighted five successful years of the label, but served as a testament to the vision, passion, and love of music that continues to drive the extended mobilee team in all that they do, and all that will come.

With a focus on label showcases, such as the annual drawcard event at Barcelona’s Hotel Silken Diagonal during Sonar, mobilee is committed to developing its roster—the core of whom are booked and managed by the label itself. The famed Sonar rooftop parties that have featured all-star casts of mobilee artists and friends are just one example of the unique, forward-thinking philosophy of mobilee, and its attendant expansion as a music and entertainment enterprise.

In addition to Anja Schneider, mobilee's core artists include Sebo K, Pan-Pot, M.E.M.O., And.Id, Ralf Kollmann, Miss Jools, Dan Curtin, Marcin Czubala, Martin Landsky, Ray Okpara, Christian Smith, Slam and their extensive release catalogue includes productions from artists such as Daniel Stefanik, Maya Jane Coles, Re.You, Safeword, Miss Kittin, Vincenzo and many more.
